About the journeys
Leadership inspiration comes from the most unusual sources—Native American Shaman expectations, the optimistic patience of the Easter Island cook and West African smiles despite a meningitis epidemic. All showed me openness, insight, powerful influence and grit.

This is a story of commonality. Of one world. The more I traveled, the more I saw the power of natural thinking, the way humans approached storytelling, the genuine interest in well-being of neighbors, true nimbleness, and the ability to stay creative and calm in extreme or threatening situations.

V = Villages 2 = to B = Boardrooms
V2B.Life is not solely a travel blog about visiting places, but about the actual return home. While the camera provides a lens for understanding, the real human insights are made through interactions, observations, connections, perception and empathy.

Join me on journeys from sands to workplace jungles as we leverage travels to help make sense of our corporate lives. And perhaps make a difference there too—in careers, relationships and companies.
Many thanks,
Joanne Markow
